Inclusive Education and Diversity
Empowers individuals and underrepresented communities, promoting inclusion, diversity, impactful projects, human rights, and environmental awareness.
Between October 8 and 10, 2024, the EmpowerED Conference TES brought together more than 170 participants, including invited authorities, 09 keynote speakers, and educators from various regions. Over the three days of the event, 18 thematic workshops were held in concurrent sessions, along with 02 roundtables, providing moments of intense debate and reflection. These activities solidified the conference as a transformative experience for teachers and educators, fostering innovative and collaborative pedagogical practices.
The agenda included sessions such as "Promoting Rights-Centered Classrooms," "Supporting Teacher Self-Care and Development," "Integrating Human Rights Education," and "The Path to Transformation in a Family-Friendly School." These themes were carefully selected to address the educational gaps identified by the Human Rights Committee, with a focus on human rights education as a crucial strategy to strengthen respect for economic, social, and cultural rights, particularly from the perspective of non-discrimination.

Collaboration: Successful projects often involve collaboration across various stakeholders, such as governments, NGOs, businesses, and community groups, working together toward common goals.
Measurable Results: Impactful projects have clear, measurable outcomes that demonstrate their effectiveness in addressing the target issue. This could include improvements in education, health, employment, or environmental conditions.
Inclusive: These projects prioritize inclusivity and aim to reach marginalized or underserved populations, ensuring that everyone has an opportunity to benefit.
